Olgerd Eichler has been a Portfolio Manager at MainFirst since 2007. He is responsible for MainFirst Germany Fund and MainFirst Top European Ideas Fund. Prior to joining MainFirst, he spent seven years managing a total of eight international retail and special funds at Union Investment, accounting for a total volume of EUR 8 billion at the end of his tenure. Back in the 1990s, Olgerd Eichler worked in the Treasury and Private Banking departments at Citibank. During his many years spent working in the investment industry, he has won numerous accolades in recognition of his outstanding fund management. He recently received two Sauren gold medals for outstanding fund management for the sixth year running. Olgerd Eichler is also one of the very few Portfolio Managers worldwide to have achieved a top-ten ranking in European and global equities for one, three and five-year time spans – and he did so at different times and in different market phases.
